1. Can 4Team Server be installed on Windows XP Home Edition?
No, 4Team Server can be installed only on Windows XP Professional or Windows 2003 Server.

2. Is it possible to configure 4Team Server to use Microsoft SQL Server or any other database instead of MySQL?
Currently we provide only installation for MySQL Server. If you need 4Team Server to work with any other database, please write us by e-mail info@outlook4team.com

3. Can access to 4Team Server be restricted for use only in internal network?.
Yes, it can. Microsoft Windows Server has to be configured accordingly. Please contact us by e-mail at: info@outlook4team.com if you want to order Windows Server Configuration option*.

4. I've purchased 4Team Server but it asks me for the activation code. Where do I get one?
The activation code with complete activation instructions are sent to you by e-mail right after the purchase. Usually activation code is the same as your Invoice Number. But in case you didn't receive this e-mail, contact our sales representative by phone or e-mail and they will help you with activation.

5. Can SSL (secured connection) be used for data synchronization between 4Team and 4Team Server?
Yes. Microsoft IIS have to be configured properly for this to work. Please contact us by e-mail at: info@outlook4team.com if you want to order Windows Server Configuration option*.

6. What is the difference between 4Team Server and 4Team Online Server?
4Team Server works only as synchronization server for 4Team for Microsoft® Outlook® application. 4Team Online Server provides similar functionality as in 4Team, but through web interface. 4Team Online Server doesn?t require 4Team or 4Team Server, but can be used at the same time with both. In this case you can access Team Projects information from both Microsoft Outlook and from any computer just using internet browser.

7. We want to use our company (website) domain name in order to access 4Team Online Server. How can we configure this?

8. We already have 4Team for MS Outlook that is currently using e-mails for synchronization. Do we need to reinstall all machines and re-configure 4Team from scratch?
No. All you need to do, is just enable 4Team Server synchronization mode by going to "Advanced Options..." and clicking "4Team Server" tab (refer to 4Team Server Installation and Configuration Guide for detailed description). Reinstallation is needed only in case members don't have the latest version of 4Team for MS Outlook installed.

9. Can 4Team for MS Outlook work correctly if several members are configured to use 4Team Server and several are still on e-mail synchronization?
When 4Team is configured to use 4Team Server, each team member has to have "Use 4Team Server" option enabled in "Advanced Options...", otherwise synchronization will not work correctly. E-mail synchronization can only be configured by enabling additional checkbox "Currently can't access server, use e-mails instead" (refer to 4Team Server Installation and Configuration Guide for detailed description).
